Best Office coffee machines
We get asked a lot, what is the best coffee machine for my office and to be honest, there’s a very different answer to that question depending on who is asking. Most people think a coffee machine is just a coffee machine, we press a button and job done, coffee is there and ready to go - however, once you start researching machines it can become a little confusing… why are some machines coming up on google shopping for £1,500 but others are £10,000+? Do you need to spend thousands on a machine? Am I going to get something that is unreliable if I only spend on the lower side of the price range?
Let’s break it down in to different aspects of purchasing a coffee machine to determine exactly which machine is best for your office. Firstly, milk type - there are two kinds, fresh milk and powdered milk. Fresh milk will always taste better because its fresh, but the cleaning aspect of a powdered milk can make the machines more desirable so there is a place for both types. If you want a powdered milk machine then look no further than Coffetek - a premium powdered milk brand with a range of models. If you want something smaller doing around 60 cups a day then the Coffetek S1 is perfect! If you need to produce more cups a day then a Coffetek X3 or X5 might be a better fit! These machines also do hot chocolate which is great!
Alternatively, if fresh milk is your thing then we have a range of options from Bestir, Franke and Jura. Again, deciding the best machine will always come down to your capacity requirements - we can provide a machine to cover anything from 50-300 cups a day. Another important question to ask is whether you want to plumb your machine into the mains or have it tank fed. Tanking a machine is much easier but it also requires somebody to fill this up when the water runs out unlike the plumbed option that will always have water available through the mains. Our smaller machines tend to be tank fed and larger ones plumbed in, but many of our machines also have the benefit of being flexible and can either be tanked or plumbed.
Our smaller fresh milk machines doing 50 cups a day would be the Bestir BM40 or Jura W8. If you want something a little more powerful then the BM50, Jura x10 or Franke A300 would be the best at around 100 cups a day.
If you want to get fancy with your machine then we can also look at dual milk systems. There arent many machines that offer this and it tends to be the larger machine that can be setup this way allowing a dairy milk and oat milk to both be dispensed from the same machine. The Franke A600 is a perfect machine option for this and will also do up to 200 cups a day with either milk! It’s also possible to have hot chocolate and decaf straight from the machine as well as additional ad ons such as a steam arm, cup warmers and syrup stations!
Of course, the most important factor is price! Ultimately, if you know your milk type, capacity and water requirements then we can explore the range of models and find a machine that fits your needs at a suitable price without overpaying for a machine you just won’t get the benefits from! Our machine finder tool is also a great way to help identify which model is your perfect machine!
